Join us for the third edition of Stupid Hackathon Amsterdam: a one-day, small-batch artisanal event where participants conceptualize and create projects that have no value whatsoever, organized by Stephanie and Nienke.
At Stupid Hackathon AMS, we welcome participants of all backgrounds and technical abilities. We will provide entrance, food, drinks and a wifi-connection free of charge. In return, we ask you to abide by our code of conduct.
Before signing up, please make sure you are actually able to make it to the hackathon.
The venue is wheelchair accessible and is near Amsterdam Central Station, easily reachable on foot or by public transport.
We will keep you informed per e-mail about the day's schedule. We will provide coffee, tea, soda, snacks, a vegetarian lunch, and pizza and beer for dinner.
A device you can do stupid things with.
We encourage everyone to work in groups, but if you'd rather lone wolf it, that's totally fine too. And there will be no prizes, because everyone who participates in a Stupid Hackathon is winning hugely already ✌️
Having some coding skills will make for a more fun experience. However, you absolutely do not need to work as a programmer or computer scientist to participate. Just bring a device and some dumb ideas. We'll set up a Slack channel beforehand so you can get to know people and see if there's a group you can join up with.
